Healthcare & Education Working Group Meeting

Dear CERBA Members and Partners,

We are pleased to invite you to join the KCBC Healthcare and Education Working Group that will be held on November 19 virtually as part of the 4th KCBC Meeting – Post-pandemic Development of Kazakhstan and Canada Cooperation: Recovery and Development.

Creating the KCBC has been one of the key measures to promote cooperation, trade and investment between companies and organization and academia of Kazakhstan and Canada. The council is supported by the Canadian and Kazakh Federal Governments and forms a platform to promote a stronger and more multi-faceted relationship between the two countries.

The Healthcare and Education Working Group is meeting for the first time since the 2016 inauguration of KCBC. Within a challenging global environment it is viewed that there are opportunities for networking and potential partnerships.

  • Margaret Skok, Former Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan, Senior Fellow at Carleton University/NPSIA
  • Yerlan Kiyasov, Vice-Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan
