Dear CERBA Members and Partners,

Got cheated online? Cyber risks of corporate and personal sphere

Two months of quarantine, the whole country lived in, have showed how vulnerable the large number of organizations are, not only to the new business conditions but also to cyber threats from active fraudsters, who are trying to take possession of sensitive corporate information or personal funds of citizens. State portals responsible for citizens' interaction with authorities during this difficult period were under attacks as well.

According to experts, the damage to the world economy from cyberattacks in 2019 was estimated to reach 2.5 trillion US dollars. Given the increase in phishing and data leaks, this damage is expected to at least double this year.

The following questions will be discussed:

  • Have the corporate environment and law enforcement agencies been prepared for multiply increased cyber risks and online fraud?
