About the Forum
One of the biggest international economic forums in the world, SPIEF is held under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation. It is a vital event in the business world, with participants including heads of state and government, executives of international companies and organizations, and leading experts and journalists from around the world.
SPIEF is a unique opportunity for direct dialogue with government officials, business leaders, and the expert community. SPIEF 2017 saw the signing of 475 investment agreements, memorandums, and statements of intent, worth a total of RUB 1,817.9 billion. (In 2016, 356 agreements worth RUB 1,000.46 billion were signed.)
