About the performance:

The "Soundtrack" musical is the brainchild of Andrei Schukin’s Theatrical Artel, and directed by Andrey Schukin. Тhe idea of creating the musical belongs to both Andrey Schukin and Alexander Zhigalkin, the producer and director of the famous TV series "6 shots" and "Voroniny".

The genre of the play is quite unusual, and its creators define it as "a musically eccentric fantasy played on unusual objects". The director’s imagination is ingenious and inexhaustible: the music is everywhere, performed on objects absolutely not designed for this. Nails, knives, fans, and even chairs are turned into musical instruments, resulting in beautiful music which audiences can engage with. This is the Russian answer to the British STOMP. The main difference is the emotional coloring; the dramatic content of each fragment of the play.

Fans of Andrey Schukin’s plays are familiar with his style of creation on stage: minimum decorations, maximum excellent acting. Actors are very lively, bright and original.

Everybody is familiar with the sound of the rain. This sound is very good for resting in silence, whilst travelling around the corners of your imagination. Romantics are familiar with "rain music". What about a musical variation of the sound of the "metallic nail"? What about the music of chairs, hoovers, air conditioners? Can you imagine what a hoover sounds like when dancing in a duet with an accordion? The music of an air-conditioner and a hair brush makes you forget the present moment, as it freezes time.

It is hard to imagine, until you watch the unique musical play "Soundtrack".

Everyday "nonmusical" objects that we use in our day to day lives, become amazing instruments in "Soundtrack". A truly magical experience awaits you, you will witness something absolutely out of ordinary and will go home another person.
