The CERBA-Vancouver Chapter is pleased to invite our members and associates to attend a luncheon event organized by our long-term partner and supporter, the Resource Works Society.
Attend the debut Naturally Resourceful: BC's Export Future in Natural Resources Tech luncheon to help us recognize some of the emerging technology companies that allow for the responsible pursuit of foundational activities in clean tech, forestry, oil and gas, mining, renewable energy and transportation. Success in these fields means high-paying jobs and increased access to the global value chain, in turn leading to sustainable Canadian prosperity.
Keynote speaker is Fazil Mihlar, B.C. Deputy Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology.
There will also be an expert panel of cutting-edge thinkers supporting the fields of mining, energy and forestry:
Canada has long been known for its resource commodity exports. Increasingly, however, a new dimension is being added to this: the export of the skills and technologies used to develop resources responsible as Canada has done. Resource Works says there are at least 200 B.C. companies in just seven clusters, and this amounts to a major business opportunity. But there may be some work still to be done to fully realize the potential.
We think you'll be interested in this event bringing together a senior voice from the provincial government together with a panel of eminent subject matter experts. Resource Works has kindly extended a 15% discount to those CERBA members who attend.
