The BC Ministry of International Trade and Global Affairs Canada are hosting a Business Opportunities Seminar with Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs)
When: from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM Friday, October 21, 2016
Where: at the Simon Fraser University Segal Building in Vancouver.
MDBs are tasked with reducing poverty and encouraging development in emerging markets through the provision of tens of billions of dollars a year in loans, credits and grants to national governments for a wide range of projects. There are significant opportunities for British Columbia (BC) companies to compete for MDB-funded projects in target markets.
At this seminar, you will learn how to navigate the procurement process, hear from companies that have successfully competed for contracts, and network with MDB officials from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank Group (WB), African Development Bank (AfDB), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), as well as BC companies, and provincial and federal trade officers.
