CANADA-RUSSIA BUSINESS SUMMIT

CERBA, in co-ordination with the Government of Canada and the Government of Russia, is pleased to announce that the "2011 Canada-Russia Business Summit" will take place in Ottawa on June 1, 2011.

We would like to invite you to take part in the upcoming Canada-Russia Business Summit. The event will be co-chaired on the government level by the Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov and the Canadian Minister of International Trade Edward Fast. The event will bring together top business leaders from Canada and the Russian Federation. The June 1st will be a prelude to the meetings of the Intergovernmental Economic Commission (IEC) organized by DFAIT for June 2nd in the same location.

CERBA WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE SUMMIT SPONSORS:

The summit will provide a forum for business leaders of Canada and Russia to discuss bilateral trade and investment issues. CEOs from major Canadian players in the Russian market are being invited as well as shareholders and top management from their leading Russian partners. The preliminary agenda for the business day on June 1st as well as the brief information outlining CRBC history and focus is also attached.

CERBA works closely with the IEC and was the initiating founder of the CRBC in 2005. The CRBC is committed to building, strengthening and promoting long-term co-operation between business entities in Canada and Russia. Continued CRBC work provides a welcome opportunity to reaffirm the strong and growing economic relationship between Canada and Russia which provides a solid foundation for broader cooperation and progress in their overall bilateral relationship.
