CERBA, in co-ordination with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), the Government of Canada and the Government of Russia, is pleased to announce that the "2009 Canada-Russia Business Summit" will take place in Moscow on June 22-23, 2009.

The Business Summit will promote business-to-business dialogue through a meeting of the Canada-Russia Business Council co-chaired by CERBA and RSPP, and will include a full session of the Canada-Russia Intergovernmental Economic Commission. We are delighted to announce that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victor Zubkov has been officially appointed as a Russian Co-Chair of the IEC.

In addition, concurrent sectoral sessions will be held on June 22nd to provide a further opportunity for companies and officials to discuss specific issues and opportunities in the following sectors: energy, mining, finance, foresty,agrobusiness, transportation and aerospace, and construction.

In collaboration with our Canadian and Russian partners, CERBA will be working over the coming weeks to ensure that CERBA members, other leading Canadian companies and representatives of Russian businesses from a variety of key sectors will be ready to participate in this flagship event and to make the most of the unique opportunities it will offer.
