CANADA-RUSSIA EXECUTIVE SUMMIT DATE: February 25, 2010

The Executive Summit will bring together top business executives and leading government figures from Canada and Russia for a discussion of topical issues influencing the business climate and mutual trade. Summit participants will represent highest corporate levels from both sides (CEO or President level) with 10-15 CEO participants from each country in a roundtable discussion format. The Summit will provide a unique opportunity for business leaders at the highest level to discuss with their Canadian/Russian counterparts the latest trends in policy, the economy and strategic collaboration in key sectors. The primary goal of the Summit is to promote commercial cooperation between key Canadian players in the Russian market and their Russian counterparts, building on the momentum of the prior summits in June 2009 and November 2007. The event will invoke the passing of the Olympic torch from Vancouver-2010 to Sochi-2014 as a symbol of the increased engagement and closer cooperation between Canada and Russia since the Canada Russia Business Council was established in December 2004.
