The Roundtable with with Michael Reshitnyk, Senior Trade Commissioner, Canadian Embassy in Ukraine is CANCELLED due to shut down of all major airport in Europe.

Natalia Gorelik Michael Reshitnyk is currently the senior trade commissioner at the Canadian Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine and arrived in his position in September 2008, just in time for the global financial crisis to strike Ukraine. Before this current assignment Michael headed up the former Soviet Union trade section of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade from 1996 - 2008. He is a veteran organizer of 6 Canada Russia Intergovernmental Commissions and Summits as well as 5 commissions and summits with Ukraine. Prior to this he was the Department's specialist in countertrade and trading houses. In 1990 - 91 Mr. Reshitnyk played a key role in the establishment of the Forum for International Trade Training (www.fitt.ca). |
